This service is designed specifically for Australian Secondary School student-athletes who are interested in obtaining Sports Scholarships to the College system in the United States. For secondary students the process of securing a scholarship can be overwhelming with many different meanings and terminologies used during the various steps needed to take to secure a scholarship.

Obtaining a scholarship is a complex procedure and College Connect will assist potential student-athletes in several areas including:

• Initial Talent Assessment
• Academic Assessment/Status
• Timeline guidance
• NCAA Eligibility and Registration
• SAT entrance exam tutoring and preparation
• National Letter of Intent assistance
• Individualized parent and potential student-athlete information sessions throughout the process
• Ongoing support for the duration of the student-athletes College degree

Each potential student-athlete has a unique background and skill set. After the initial talent and academic assessment, a specific timeline will be developed based on skill level and academic progress that will increase the potential of obtaining a US scholarship. By utilizing the additional sport science services of professionals aligned to OPS and College Connect, the potential student-athlete will have the chance to improve areas of weakness and arrive in the US at the top of their game. Athletes will have a direct link back to OPS and College Connect whenever they come home on Christmas or Summer breaks, ensuring the level of performance is always high.
